| WHAT FACTORS INFLUENCE
THE PRICE OF AN ALPACA? Color, conformation, fleece (quality and quantity), age, and sex all influence the price of an alpaca. Females sell for more money on average than males, but herdsire quality males demand the highest individual prices. Correct, well-conformed alpacas sell for higher prices. Alpacas which are not of breeding quality are very desirable and salable at lower prices as pets and for their fiber. |

PET/FIBER QUALITY alpacas are healthy, well cared for animals with great
personalities -- they are
usually males who do not have all the superior characteristics imperative
for a herdsire. They have
been handled since birth and have been successfully halter/lead trained.
They may have show ring experience. Their fiber will produce
quality yarn for the hand spinner. They are a sensible purchase for families and spinners who want to
enjoy their alpaca’s company and fiber but are not interested in
breeding.

VALUE FEMALES are well cared for alpacas in excellent health that have
many but not all of the exceptional characteristics imperative for the
show ring. They may or may
not have a widely recognized lineage.
When bred to our award-winning males, they will often produce
outstanding offspring. They come with complete breeding guarantees, at least two
breedings and our “Guarantee a Girl” program – free rebreeding until
you get a girl! These females
and their future offspring comprise a minimum three alpaca package… an
outstanding value!

your choice. We even handle all
the transportation! Some reasonable limitations apply, so please
