PET/FIBER QUALITY ALPACAS

Our PET/FIBER QUALITY alpacas are healthy, well cared for animals with great personalities  -- they are usually males who do not have all the superior characteristics imperative for a herdsire.  They have been handled since birth and have been successfully halter/lead trained.  They may have show ring experience.  Their fiber will produce quality yarn for the hand spinner.  They are a sensible purchase for families and spinners who want to enjoy their alpaca’s company and fiber but are not interested in breeding.

We sell our pet/fiber males as bonded pairs -- two boys who are compatible in age and personality.  By moving into their new home together, they will feel more secure and less stressed than if they are alone and separated from the herd.

Fireball and Frazier SOLD

Fireball:  DOB 10-5-2004
Frazier:  DOB 9-20-2004

These fellows have been great buddies since birth -- they were even weaned together.  They have both ribboned in the show ring due to their very nice copper brown fiber and strong conformation.

Mateo, Devin and Harry

Pintada's Mateo:  DOB 10-30-2000
CB Devin:  DOB 10-5-2002
CB Hernando (Harry):  DOB 10-20-2006

Mateo, Devin and Harry are  gentle males with fiber that spins into incredibly beautiful yarn -- it tends to sell out immediately.  The are all healthy and halter-trained.  All three get along well with each other and would be a delight to own.

As a group, they provide a beautiful selection of rich fawn, deep mahogany and light fawn/blonde quality fiber.  They come with their fleece form their spring shearing to give their new owners a "jump start" to make their own yarn.

They are offered at $1000 for two of them
or $1250 for all "three amigos."

Adequate shelter, nutrition and vet care must be provided

Andrew and Successor

Andrew:  DOB 6-25-2005
Successor:  DOB 7-2-2003

Andrew is a hearty male with a deep brown fiber that will make beautiful alpaca products.  Successor's snowy white fiber is dense and crimpy -- it will make a substantial quantity of quality yarn that can be easily dyed.  They have been "best buddies" and get along very well with each other.

Andrew and Successor come with their fleece from the last shearing for their new owners to immediately enjoy.

They are offered at $1000 for the pair
Adequate shelter, nutrition and vet care must be provided

Our pet/fiber selections can change often and quickly... please call or email for a current list.
