· Alpacas are clean, safe, quiet, intelligent and disease resistant. They have a charismatic manner, can be raised on small acreage or agisted (boarded) indefinitely on a breeding farm.
· Alpacas produce one of the world's finest and most luxurious natural fibers -- soft as cashmere and lighter, stronger and four times warmer than wool. It comes in more colors than any other fiber producing animal -- 22 basic colors with many variations and blends. Alpaca fiber is in demand around the world by spinners, weavers and the commercial textile industry.
· Alpacas do not have to be harmed to be profitable.
· Having been domesticated for more than 5,000 years, alpacas are one of Mother Nature’s favorite farm animals -- they are sensitive to their environment in every respect.
· There are very attractive tax advantages to leasing, agisting (boarding) your alpacas on a breeding farm or raising them at your own ranch -- plus, alpacas can be fully insured.
· Raising alpacas can provide both income and pleasure -- it is a rewarding experience for families with children and also for couples approaching retirement who want to blend business with a peaceful, stress-free lifestyle.
· ALPACAS ARE EASY TO AFFORD... EASY TO TAKE CARE OF... A PLEASURE TO OWN!
