HERDSIRES AND FUTURE HERDSIRES

HERDSIRES are males that have the superior characteristics that are imperative to produce a high quality herd.  Their strong outstanding genetics often produce excellent offspring when they are bred with our Value Females.  FUTURE HERDSIRES are already demonstrating all the desirable characteristics but have not yet reached breeding age.

CB EL MARTINO

DOB:  8-28-2003
DAM:  MA Imilla (Black)
SIRE:
4 Peruvian Accoyo White Wizzard (White)

2004 BigE:  1st Place Yearling Beige Male
2004 Coastal Classic:  2nd Place Beige Yearling

2005 Coastal Classic:  1st Place Beige Yearling Fleece
2005 BigE:  1st Place Beige 2+ Years

Martino is an extraordinary half-Accoyo male who has won multiple awards for his conformation and fleece.  Judges have commented on the "excellent density, character and consistency" of his fleece along with his "very pleasing style, very strong form and excellent balance and proportion."  One judge commented that his fleece is "overwhelmingly bright with extremely uniform composition and style, and a very appreciative handle."   The best part is that he consistently passes all this on to his offspring -- when it comes to greatly improving females, Martino is your man!

Breeding Fee:  $2000 (Guarantee a Girl available at an additional fee -- we repeat the breeding at no extra charge until you get a Martino girl of your own!)  Multiple breeding discounts offered.

Half Interest: $20,000

CB ARTURO  "Noble"

DOB:  8-27-1999
DAM:  MA Imilla (Black)
SIRE:  4Peruvian Kenamori Gold (
White)

2001 Empire Extravaganza:  2nd Place Black Yearling Male
2001 BigE:  2nd Place Shorn Class
2002 Empire Extravaganza:  1st Place Black Yearling Fleece
2002 North American:  2nd Place
2003 North American:  1st Place Black Males 2+ Years
2003 North American:  Reserve Color Champion

Arturo, an excellent example of the Kenamori Gold lineage, is a multiple show ring winner who passes on his excellent lineage, crimpy fiber with superior fineness and handle, and square, square, square conformation -- judges loved his "typey" overall appearance and strong bones.  One judge commented, "The quality of his superior soft fleece that he continues to demonstrate at his age is phenomenal in terms of genetics."

Arturo consistently improves the bone, squareness and fiber quality of the females he breeds.  He is attentive, very composed and extremely easy to handle -- additional characteristics that he passes on to his offspring.  Another bonus -- when bred to black or bay black females he often produces black cria!

We are very pleased to offer Arturo for breeding and half interest in him for sale.

Breeding Fee:  $1500 (Guarantee a Girl available at an additional fee -- we repeat the breeding at no extra charge until you get an Arturo girl of your own!)  Multiple breeding discounts offered.

Half Interest: $15,000

It's no wonder that Basillio has won a championship and multiple ribbons for his conformation and lustrous fleece.  He has perfect conformation and very strong bone.  His fleece is dense, lustrous, crimpy and very fast growing.  This show ring champion, who has the greatest personality -- alert and sociable with a calm confidence -- consistently passes on his outstanding qualities to his offspring.

FOR SALE

GASPAR DE LA ROSA

DOB:  8-26-1999
DAM:  EL R Andrea (Brown)
SIRE:  EL R Kaleo  (Black)
GRANDSIRE:
Sir Bartholomew of Truckee (Black)
GREAT GRANDSIRE: Lord Moppet of England (Black)

2002 MAPACA:  1st Place Gray Yearling Fleece
2002 Empire Extravaganza:  2nd Place Gray 2+ Fleece

Gaspar is a very well conformed silver gray herdsire with US and British lineage, both loaded with black and gray.  His lineage includes Black Bart, out of the famous Black Lord Moppet of England, and Mr. John Henry, son of the famous White Fawn.  In addition, he has gray great-grandparents with dense, dense, dense fiber on his dam's side.  Gaspar's fleece has won ribbons and his son took first place at the 2005 BigE for his "excellent conformation and overwhelming density."  Gaspar is an enthusiastic breeder and high spirited, but will stand still with minimal effort in a catch pen.  We fell in love with Gaspar -- and his incredible lineage -- when he was a juvenile at El Ranchito in California and bought him with the intention of focusing our breeding program on grays... but we have taken another direction and have decided to offer him for sale.

Breeding Fee:  $1500 (Guarantee a Girl available at an additional fee -- we repeat the breeding at no extra charge until you get a Gaspar girl of your own!)  Multiple breeding discounts offered.

For Sale:  $12,000  -- Terms Available
