Alpacas of Cedar Brook Farm -- Leasing Alpacas and Financing Options

Leasing an alpaca is the quickest start with the least initial investment! For a set fee you may lease one of our quality bred females for the duration of her pregnancy and own the cria (baby) which is born. Once it is weaned -- usually at 6 months old -- you may sell it, agist (board) it or take it home with you.

· Leasing benefits both new and existing alpaca breeders with or without farm facilities

· Allows you to get a head start on high quality offspring at less than one-third of the cost of purchasing a bred female.

· Breeding our excellent males with recognized lineage to our quality females assures you of offspring with desirable characteristics -- female crias can be sold or held as future breeding stock, male crias can be sold or held as future herdsires.

· Offers substantial tax advantages without the "hands-on" requirements including fully deductible lease expenses and the ability to capitalize and/or write off costs -- we recommend you seek the advice of your tax advisor to define your personal benefits from an alpaca leasing program.

t QUICK START LEASING PLAN: Purchase an unborn cria (baby) with three very affordable interest free payments

- Lease fees start at $5000

- Easily financed interest free with 1/3 down payment, 1/3 to be paid upon birth of cria and balance to be paid when the cria is 6 months old

- Includes stud fees, agisting (boarding) fees and daily care of the mother and cria until the cria is weaned (usually at 6 months old)

- Covers ARI registration of cria and transfer of ownership fees

- Contracts with full reproductive and live birth guarantees

- New owner of cria is responsible for vet expenses during this period and insuring the cria once it is registered -- usually at 1 month old.

- If a VALUE FEMALE, includes our popular "Guarantee a Girl" feature: FREE rebreeding to one of our award winning herdsires until you get a girl! If a girl is born from the first breeding, a second breeding is still included.

- If a SHOW QUALITY FEMALE, includes our "Herdsire of Your Choice" program: FREE rebreeding at Magical Farms, our farm, or the farm of your choice -- we will provide the transportation. (Some reasonable limitations apply, please inquire).

- Covers ARI registration and owner transfer fees
