AKBASH LIVESTOCK GUARDIAN DOGS
Because alpacas are gentle animals without any means of protecting themselves, owners often use electric fencing, guard llamas or a livestock guardian dog for protection against predators. We have Argus, our Akbash guardian dog.
WE WILL MISS OUR WONDERFUL BOY, ARGUS, WHO PASSED AWAY AFTER EIGHT YEARS OF DEVOTED SERVICE TO HIS HERD... AND US!
TACOMA, A RESCUE PYRENEES, HAS JOINED US AND IS TAKING GOOD CARE OF THE HERD... PICTURES WILL BE COMING!

We are located in Irasburg, a small town in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont -- very easy to find and just a few minutes off of Exit 26 on I 91.
Whether you are interested in purchasing or would just like to know more about alpacas, we would love to meet you and have the opportunity to show you around the farm and introduce you to our alpacas.
